MES Interdisciplinary Degree
The MES major is an interdisciplinary degree. Students design their own course of study, selecting classes from among courses taught in history, religious studies, political science, communication, art history, the MEI itself, and other departments.

Given the interdisciplinary nature of the B.I.S. degree students majoring in a B.I.S. degree are not allowed to also declare a minor.
